MV APOLLO is a 13m monohull surveyed under MNZ regulations. She is powered by 2 x Suzuki 300 hp outboards and cruises comfortably at 22 knots, less time travelling more time fishing. APOLLO has an open wet deck with side clears that can be rolled up so fishing can be on the sides or beam. Open galley and private toilet on board.
Your day will include the expert services of our skipper Brian and local fishing guru deck-hand Grant.
We cater for groups upto 15 passengers with a maximum of 10 anglers at one time for ultimate fishing comfort.
We leave from Leigh wharf. Leigh is perfectly situated closest to the best Hauraki Gulf fishing. We reach Great Barrier and the Mokohinau Islands in just over an hours travel from Leigh. Little Barrier in only half an hour.
We aim to be back at Leigh wharf by 5pm however if the fish are starting to come on the bite towards the end of the day we can make the call whether to extend the time.
