The PADI Advanced Open Water course qualifies you to dive to deeper depths anywhere in the world!

The course is designed with excitement in mind - whether you are new to diving or have logged 100s of dives - this course will refine your skills and build on your knowledge of the underwater world.

PADI Advanced Open Water Course Schedule

Goat Island Dive & Snorkel's PADI Advanced Open Water course is focused around your individual needs as a diver. This course will improve your skills whatever your level of experience and we work as a team to complete challenging objectives on every open water dive using different underwater scenarios and role playing.

ADVANCED DATES : 

• 21st/22nd January 2012

The Advanced Open Water course includes:

• PADI Advanced manual
• Day 1 - Goat Island
• Course Orientation at Goat Island Dive & Snorkel 
• Theory development review
• Confined water review
• Open Water Dive 1 - Peak Performance Buoyancy
• OW dive 2 - Underwater Navigation

Day 2 - Mokohinau Islands

• OW dive 3 - Deep dive
• OW dive 4 - Underwater Naturalist
• OW dive 5 - Search and Recovery

The PADI Advanced Open Water course will qualify you to reach deeper and more interesting sites with the skills necessary to be confident. 

• Your PADI Open Water Certification or equivalent
• Minimum age of 15 years
• All students must sit a basic dive medical within the last 12 months. Complete this medical form and see your local physician. Contact Goat Island Dive & Snorkel for information on local physicians if you are from out of town
• Must be willing to set time aside for self-study preparation
